👋 Hello. I’m Vuong.
I’m a tech guy from Boston. For two decades, I’ve helped startups and Fortune 500 teams build products, scale engineering organizations, and update the early system choices to serve new business visions.
As the founder of Meteor Dreams, I’m currently focused on helping organizations move toward AI-native practice. Some teams are already in chaotic, individual AI adoption. Others are trying to avoid that trap before it hardens.
My work ranges from embedded fractional CTO leadership to advisory work, but it generally centers on turning scattered tools, prompts, context, and review habits into shared, repeatable team practice.
Why this blog?
As a compulsive tinkerer, when something breaks, or when it works too well, I need to understand why. In writing this blog, I hope to record lessons learned, and to think more clearly in the process. If something here helps you think too, I’d love to continue the conversation.
My writing revolves around these main themes:
- AI-Native Engineering Practice: Most AI rollouts are tool-rich and context-poor. The team layer (shared context, shared evals, shared review criteria) is what decides whether the tools stack into real leverage.
- Context Architecture: What belongs in the corpus, who owns it, how it ages, and how retrieval earns trust. The context layer matters more than the model, and most teams do not own it on purpose.
- Engineering Leadership: Team building, the rewrite trap, and the moments that decide whether the work holds or evaporates. Most of what I’ve learned came the hard way, in both success and failure.
- Stablecoins, Tokenized Deposits & Cross-Border Infrastructure: Production systems, treasury timing, and what actually ships in emerging markets.
Speaking
I also speak at conferences, universities, podcasts, and company events, usually for technical audiences trying to connect architecture choices with operating reality.
The talks come from the same themes I write about above: AI-Native Engineering Practice, Context Architecture, Engineering Leadership, and Stablecoins, Tokenized Deposits & Cross-Border Infrastructure.
Connect
The best place to connect is LinkedIn. You can also email me at vuong(at)meteordreams.com. For consulting inquiries, visit Meteor Dreams.

I'll send you a roundup of posts once in a while. Not trying to spam. Unsubscribe any time.
What do you do?
I'm the founder of Meteor Dreams. I help organizations move toward AI-native practice by turning scattered tools, prompts, context, and review habits into shared team practice. In this blog, I write about AI-native engineering practice, context architecture, engineering leadership, and stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and cross-border infrastructure.
What makes your perspective different?
I work with the team layer, not just the tool layer. Most AI conversations focus on models and agents. I'm more interested in the shared context, evals, and review habits that decide whether anything actually sticks. My perspective comes from production work, including stablecoin, DeFi, and AI systems, not commentary from the sidelines.
How can I work with you?
For consulting, fractional CTO work, or advisory conversations, visit Meteor Dreams. For everything else, find me on LinkedIn.
Do you speak at events?
Yes. I speak at conferences, universities, podcasts, and company events, usually for technical audiences trying to connect architecture choices with operating reality. Topics come from the same threads I write about here: AI-Native Engineering Practice, Context Architecture, Engineering Leadership, and Stablecoins, Tokenized Deposits & Cross-Border Infrastructure. The talks come from production work, not slide-deck theory. For invitations or podcast bookings, reach out on LinkedIn.
What is the difference between this site and Meteor Dreams?
vuongnguyen.com is my personal blog, where I think out loud about AI-native engineering practice, context architecture, engineering leadership, and stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and cross-border infrastructure. Meteor Dreams is my consulting practice, where clients can learn about services and advisory work.
Are you Nguồn Thiêng?
Yes, Nguồn Thiêng is my creative outlet for Vietnamese diaspora culture, music, and songwriting. It's where I explore my Vietnamese heritage through performance and cultural content. While this site focuses on technology and engineering, Nguồn Thiêng is where I connect with my roots and creative expression. Read more about my work as a Vietnamese storyteller.
